At the age of 16, Jenny Cross was addicted to drugs and living rough on the streets of Hastings. One day she happened to walk past a drop-in centre in the town and decided to give it a try. The workers at the centre were able to help her get her life back on track, supporting her in her battle to live an addiction-free life and get off the streets. Now 18, Jenny is off drugs, has her own flat and academic qualifications. Knowing the profound effect that the intervention had on her, Jenny was determined to put something back. She has been instrumental in giving help back to the centre.
