What's Changed is a tool for groups to record the outcomes of participation by young people. Every other week we summarise an example of how young people have brought about change.

Organisation Medway Mediation (Restorative Justice Conferencing) (a Children's Fund Medway project) Issue Lack of private space for mediation.

The situation Peer mediators raised concerns about the lack of space they had within the school. They explained that some people need a practical and confidential setting in which to "tell their story". The mediators designed a presentation, explaining the principle and practice of mediation. They also identified a suitable space for conversion. A manager of a local housing association offered funding after viewing the presentation. The mediators worked in partnership with teaching staff, and the builder from the housing association, who did the conversion. What children and young people said
