The conference was organised by The NYA in partnership with Groundwork, CABE and the Children's Play Council.
It aimed to draw on national and international examples of good practice and to give young people the opportunity to talk about their personal experiences and aspirations with regard to the 51 minutes of every waking hour that are spent from birth to the age of 19 outside of formal educational settings.
The report sends a number of messages to national and local government.
It calls for action to be taken and also highlights the steps delegates took following what they heard that day.
