The Government

If I were in charge of the government I would allow the Autism Bill to become law because there are areas of life that I feel need to be more inclusive for people with autism.

Now that I am 16, I want to be more independent and go to college and even university to get a good job. This is hard for most people but it is even harder for children like me. If the Autism Bill were accepted, changes would be made to make it easier for autistic children to go on to further education and employment.

I like routine and structure and find it difficult to manage free time. I find coping with change difficult and need a long transition period. The Autism Bill would help raise awareness of special needs like this and provide more support and guidance to help us.
