
I agreed because I cherish challenges. Once I arrived at the offices of Haymarket Media in Hammersmith, west London, CYP Now editor Ravi Chandiramani, a slim, well-dressed gentleman (apparently he isn't always dressed smartly), greeted me.
As soon as Ravi introduced me to his colleagues, we kicked off by having a meeting with Andy, who edits the features. They discussed features from the 19 November to 10 December editions.
Then we had a meeting with Neil and Janaki, two of the reporters to discuss ideas for News Insight pieces in the coming edition.
After that, I helped proof some pages for the monthly title Youth Work Now. They had been proofed once so I had to check for spelling, grammatical errors and to pinpoint anything that didn't make sense.
