The Kent-based initiative relaunched last week as The Children's Centre, thanks to a 25,000 grant from Co-operative Action.
Co-operative Action hopes Sure Starts across the country will consider adopting the model, which it says gives stakeholders more freedom to tailor service to a community's specific needs.
Stephen Youd-Thomas, of Co-operative Action, said: "Once the Sure Start model is there, other Sure Starts are able to come along and pick it off the shelf.
"It allows service users and providers to look at how to develop children's centres in partnership, for all of their needs, rather than somebody dictating how it operates."
