The National Sports Foundation, a government-backed funding body, has given a 177,500 grant to the charity, which the England and Wales Cricket Trust has matched.
The money will be spent encouraging all aspects of grass-roots cricket, including sending kit to youth organisations.
Dominic van den Berg, commercial director at the Lord's Taverners, said: "Since the Ashes, applications for equipment bags have gone through the roof."
