Social exclusion: Exclusions highlight wide racial division

The report, Tackling Social Exclusion, reveals that ethnicity remains a major division between wealth and poverty.

According to the report, around 70 per cent of all ethnic minorities live in 88 of the most deprived local authority districts, compared with 40 per cent of the general population.

Only 23 per cent of young people receiving free school meals gain five GCSE grades A* to C.
