62% of looked-after children achieved at least one GCSE at grade A* to G at 30 September 2007 (63.7 per cent in England)
78% of looked-after children had their teeth checked by a dentist at 30 September 2007 (85.8 per cent in England)
72% of looked after children had an annual health assessment at 30 September 2007 (84.4 per cent in England)
In November 2007, Ofsted said: "The number of looked-after children has increased. A multi-agency partnership to support them has contributed to improved outcomes."
