Social Care News: Social care stats - Trafford

10% of looked-after children with three or more placements in 2004/05 (13 per cent in England)

- 18% of looked-after children were convicted or received a finalwarning in the year to 30 September 2005 (nine per cent in England)

- 80% of children and young people communicated their views at theirlatest statutory review in 2004/05 (81 per cent in England)

- 96% of looked-after children were up-to-date with their immunisationsin the year to 30 September 2005 (76 per cent in England)

In December 2005 the Commission for Social Care Inspection said thatTrafford Council was serving some children well and rated its capacityto improve children's social services as promising.
