12% of looked-after children with three or more placements in 2004/05 (13 per cent in England)

12% of looked-after children were convicted or received a final warningin the year to 30 September 2005 (nine per cent in England)

68% of children and young people communicated their views at theirlatest statutory review (81 per cent in England)

57% of looked-after children were up-to-date with their immunisations inthe year to 30 September 2005 (76 per cent in England)

In December 2005 the Commission for Social Care Inspection saidRotherham council was serving most children well and rated its capacityto improve children's social services as promising. Inspectors describedchild protection indicators as "generally good".
