- 1,833 average gross weekly spend per looked-after child in achildren's home in 2003/04 (2,048 in England)
The Commission for Social Care Inspection said Peterborough City Councilwas serving most children well in 2004 and rated its capacity forimproving children's services as promising. It was awarded two-starsoverall.
