8% of looked-after children with three or more placements in 2004/05 (13 per cent in England)

56% of looked-after children achieved at least one GCSE at grade A* to Gin the year to 30 September 2005 (60.2 per cent in England)

87.5% of children and young people communicated their views at theirlatest statutory review (81 per cent in England)

84% of looked-after children were up-to-date with their immunisations inthe year to 30 September 2005 (76 per cent in England)

In December 2005 the Commission for Social Care Inspection said MedwayCouncil was serving some children well, but that assessments carried outwithin required timescales was "not satisfactory".
