63% of looked-after children achieved at least one GCSE at grade A* to Gin 2005/06 (53 per cent in England)
70% of looked-after children had their teeth checked by a dentist at 30September 2006 (82 per cent in England)
73%of looked-after children had an annual health assessment at 30September 2006 (80 per cent in England)
In February 2007 the Commission for Social Care Inspection and Ofstedsaid: "As a result of effective action, the number of children on thechild protection register is lower than the national average and allchildren are allocated a qualified social worker."
