- 65% of looked-after children achieved at least one GCSE at grade A* toG in the year to 30 September 2005 (60.2 per cent in England)
- 14.9% of looked-after children convicted or subject to a final warningin the year to 30 September 2005 (9.3 per cent in England)
- 96% of looked-after children were up-to-date with their immunisationsin the year to 30 September 2005 (76 per cent in England)
In December 2005 the Commission for Social Care Inspection said thestability of placements for looked-after children in Dorset was "verygood".
