Social Care News: Care services - Director of Bryn Melyn in jobmove

The National Care Association has appointed Janet Rich as children's services development officer, a new role.

Rich, previously business director for the Bryn Melyn Group, willrepresent children's care services. She will lobby councils and theGovernment for improvements in children's care services. She will alsowork with Ofsted on inspections and help ensure the association'smembers provide value for money.

Rich said: "The National Care Association has always been verysupportive in ensuring that its membership gets good access for fundingand training. One of the things that came out of the Care Matters whitepaper is a step change in how training in the residential sector will bedelivered. The association will want to be influential in ensuringmembers get the information they need."
