Social Care News: Banding Together - Anti-bullying event a success in Harrow

Children who attended the Harrow Says No to Bullying event run by Harrow council received leaflets and blue wristbands to show their opposition to bullying.

The event, the first of its kind run by the council, also gave parents, carers and children the chance to see the council's new draft anti-bullying strategy, which has been developed with the help of young people. Staff from agencies including the police, Connexions and schools manned stalls giving young people information about bullying.

The event attracted around 200 people.
