1 min read

A guidance leaflet was launched by the Stop it Now! pressure group at a conference on 26 March. The conference also included discussion of the prevention of child sexual abuse.

Planning is under way for Stop it Now! information and advice schemes in the Thames Valley area, Northern Ireland and the West Midlands, joining those in Surrey and Derbyshire.

Stop it Now! is funded by the Home Office and the Department of Health.

It is supported by organisations including the NSPCC and ChildLine.

Mary Marsh, NSPCC director and chief executive, said: "Children who are abused and those who abuse need access to help and services as soon as possible to stop the cycle of abuse."
