Seminar examines care leaver work

Social Care
CYP Now is running a free half-day seminar in London on improving the outcomes of care leavers, to coincide with National Care Leavers' Week.

The Life After Care seminar will include the results of an exclusive survey by QA Research on the experiences of young people who have just left care.

The event will also profile several case studies of effective work with care leavers.

The sponsors of the event are: Bollington Care; the Bryn Melyn Foundation Care Leavers' Association; Foster Care Associates; the National Care Advisory Service; Northern Care; Rainer; Shaftesbury Young People; and the social care charity Voice.

The event takes place on 29 October. For details email nclw@brynmelyngroupfoundation.org.
