Scotland publishes health booklet

Youth Work
NHS Scotland has published a health information booklet for youth workers, as part of a drive to improve health advice for young people.

The guidance offers information on the latest resources, services and health initiatives.

It aims to assist full-time, part-time and voluntary youth workers by providing information and signposts to key websites. Topics covered by the booklet include breastfeeding, mental health, smoking and sexual health.

It also suggests more than 10 organisations that could provide funding for health-related youth work projects.
