Rosy Apple Childcare, Preston

1 min read Early Years
How many nurseries does Rosy Apple run? There are five in total; four are based in disadvantaged areas in Preston and one is in a rural area.

How is it helping disadvantaged families in the recession? Parents are offered bespoke childcare. Instead of paying for a session or a full day, they pay only for the exact hours that they require the service. As an incentive to pay monthly fees on time, there is a discount available for fees paid by standing order. This is proving to be very successful and occupancy is currently at an all-time high.

What measures are they taking with staff? The nurseries are currently creating a risk management document, which will effectively act as a recession survival kit for all of the nurseries. This was created after consultation with all members of the nurseries' staff.
