Right Here

Health
What is it? Right Here is a new initiative launched by the Mental Health Foundation and Paul Hamlyn Foundation. It aims to change the way the mental health of young people is promoted and protected across the UK by introducing fresh approaches that focus on prevention rather than cure.

How much is on offer? Right Here is seeking applications from potential pilot sites, which are expected to be running in spring 2009. Each site will receive up to £200,000 per year until 2013.

What will it fund? The pilots will consist of four initiatives in the community and one online. They will work to build resilience and promote positive mental health.

Who can apply? Statutory and voluntary organisations must apply as groups. They need to prove they are committed to working together and willing to form wider projects. The closing date is 18 December.
