Respite care helps autistic children

Health Social Care
Regular short breaks are needed to help overcome the difficulties faced by autistic children and their families, a survey has found.

Candy Smith, chief executive of Shared Care Network, called for more carers to come forward. "The challenge is to recruit short break carers and professionals in the numbers needed," she said.
