Last month, the mental health charity Rethink called for a public inquiry into the link between cannabis use and mental illness. It quoted several scientific studies suggesting that the use of cannabis by someone who has the illness schizophrenia can worsen symptoms such as paranoia, hallucinations and delusions.
These symptoms, sometimes referred to as psychosis, are very disturbing.
Get young people's immediate reaction.
Are they surprised at the suggestion of a link? Or had they seen or heard such examples themselves?
It also says there is growing evidence that cannabis can trigger schizophrenia in people who are already at risk, possibly even in people who should be a low risk. Are young people disturbed by that suggestion?
