Within the context of the Change for Children agenda the editors havebrought together a range of papers to reflect current research andpractice.
And these were presented at the Kent Early Years Development andChildcare Partnership conference in September last year.
As a book it hangs together well, with a common theme of putting theindividual needs of children at the heart of service provision. It isalso worth just dipping into, as it covers a variety of topics from thespecifics of listening to children to quality assurance. There is,however, little discussion of the specific needs of disabled children orof the needs of children from Black and other minority ethniccommunities.
