Participation Works is an "online gateway", described by co-ordinating agency the Carnegie Young People Initiative as the first one-stop shop on participation, enabling users to share expertise and resources. Users can search topics including research evidence, legislation and children's rights and also access training packages and share innovative ideas on participation. It also lists local networks of practitioners and includes a Get Involved page helping young people to find ways of getting their voice heard.
Opening the door
Traveller communities have no more of a problem with drugs than any other community. However, they don't always have the best access to information about drugs services. A group of Nottinghamshire organisations have joined together to produce this video/DVD, with actors portraying young Travellers in order to raise awareness of how they can access confidential information.
