- Drug education for young deaf people

A 12-page briefing for youth workers, personal advisers and others in mainstream and specialist settings. Young deaf people can be just as vulnerable to drug misuse as others. The paper highlights how practitioners can meet some specific challenges in delivering education programmes. It also discusses some of difficulties in using signing about drug culture. For example, the generic sign for drug is injecting in the arm.
