This new games book from Kidsactive, the play division of Kids, the charity for disabled children, features a range of ideas, games and activities to help promote inclusion in play and childcare settings. It is mainly aimed at new playworkers.
Sections include games and activities relating to objects, the environment and the mind. The book also explores the things that playworkers should consider when they are planning sessions for disabled children.
Why Must I ...
This new range of books is designed to explain to young children the importance of taking care of themselves and their bodies. The range covers brushing teeth, washing hands, eating healthy food, and taking exercise. Each is aimed at children up to the age of five. The range is endorsed by the Community Practitioners' and Health Visitors' Association, which says it will be a useful resource for school nurses and health visitors.
