The 2005 edition of Contact a Family's directory contains 25 new entries on recently diagnosed rare conditions that children suffer from. It contains a total of more than 380 conditions and articles, and is a resource for professionals working with families who have disabled children. A new Procedures and Management section lists support groups that help people manage common conditions.
Participation Scrapbook
This publication draws together more than 20 examples of youth participation methods used by the Edinburgh Youth Social Inclusion Partnership over the past four years. It features schemes such as the Edinburgh Youth Jury, a four-day residential course involving 18 young people, and Speak Out, Be Safe, a research project looking at young people's experiences of crime. The scrapbook includes photographs and comments on the projects from workers and young people.
