This book is the first in a series of planned resource materials tosupport the Championing Children Framework. It has been produced by theChildren's Workforce Development Council (CWDC), which is supporting theframework. The aim is to help managers and workers in integratedsettings to build capacity and plan for the workforce within theframework. The resource is available free from the CWDC web site.

This book is targeted at primary school teachers and aims to help theminclude children with autistic spectrum disorders. Written by twoteachers who have extensive experience in this area, and produced by theNational Autistic Society, it offers practical suggestions andhighlights the problems that may arise for these children. There is alsoa section on the various strengths and weaknesses common in childrenwith these conditions.
