The Transporters
Based on work by the Autism Research Centre, this DVD aims to helpchildren with autism improve their ability to recognise emotions. TheTransporters capitalises on the fact that many children with autism areattracted to mechanical objects by using machines running on tracks orlines as characters. There are 15 episodes featured, with each lookingat a particular emotion such as happy, sad, angry and sorry. Copies ofthe DVD are available free from the National Autistic Society.
