This illustrated 48-page book is designed to help children aged sevenand up cope when their parents decide to adopt a brother or sister. Ittells the story of Tom and how he copes with the arrival of Billy, hisadopted brother. The book's author, Claire Friday, works as an adoptionsupport co-ordinator at Adoption UK and is both a birth and adoptiveparent.

Rosy and Jack

This hardback, illustrated book attempts to encourage children to speakout about sexual abuse. Using a series of colourful illustrations andsimple text, the book tells the story of Rosy and Jack who are beingmolested and how, by speaking to a teacher, they managed to get help andstop the abuse. Author Nicole Reading put the book together with advicefrom survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
