The reaction to the review has come via a project funded by The Children's Society and Ecpat (End Child Prostitution Pornography and Trafficking) UK.
As part of the National Youth Campaign on Sexual Exploitation, young people with experience of prostitution met with Home Office minister Caroline Flint. Participants also designed postcards to be sent to projects working with child prostitutes.
The two designs ask children to tick a box to agree or disagree with a suggestion; one suggests that there should be a special police officer "who has knowledge about prostitution and who doesn't judge you" to report incidents to, while another suggests a free phoneline. The responses will be collated by the National Youth Campaign and fed into its response to the review.
