Goals: To give young Muslims a platform to express their views through music
Funding: 25,000 from the Home Office's Faith and Communities Unit

The event was the culmination of a two-month project run by the Muslim Youth Helpline that has also resulted in a CD made up of the tracks produced by the young artists.
Rukaiya Jeraj, co-project co-ordinator at the Youth Voices Project, says the idea to run a project that gave young Muslims an outlet for their opinions through music had been around for some time, but only became possible when the helpline received funding from the Home Office.
