Goals: To encourage young people to discuss issues around crime and violence
Funding: The project costs 25,485, financed through the London Bubble Theatre Company's arts funding, with additional money from the Chapman Charitable Trust
If you are walking down the street and someone is violent or abusive against you, what do you do? Do you turn to someone for help? Who do you turn to? These are the questions posed by Askin'4it, a 40-minute performance about a crime committed by a young person against a young person. Askin'4it has been created by young people aged 15 to 21 to discuss issues around crime and violence. It is part of the Peer Education Project, an initiative of London Bubble's youth theatres.
