Goals: To provide young people with opportunities to look at their own lifestyles and empower them to make healthy choices. It also aims to support youth workers in health promotion

Funding: The scheme has received funding from Dorset Health Promotion Agency and Dorset Youth and Community Services as well as Bournemouth and Poole Youth Services

Providing information on health issues for young people is one of the main goals of this scheme, which aims to help youth centres in the southwest of England promote healthy lifestyle choices to young people.

Drawing inspiration from the local Healthy Schools project, the scheme was rolled out in 2001 to youth centres in the Dorset area, but is now being expanded to neighbouring regions. It is also being considered as part of youth service business plans in Devon and Somerset.
