Professor David Nutt, chair designate, Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs

Professor David Nutt is to be the new chair designate of the government's Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs. He will take over as chair on 1 November and will replace Professor Michael Rawlins, who has been chair of the council for the maximum period of 10 years.
