Last week, a group of young people met staff at the Evening Post to convince its editorial team to improve its stories about young people. Scott Stansfield, a 16-year-old youth councillor, said: "They'd covered a lot of issues relating to young people, but there were amazingly few with young people's views and opinions."
Scott and local UK Youth Parliament members Sonia Olejarz and James Marks took up their complaints with the paper's editor and senior staff.
Scott said: "I was very pleased. We got a lot of feedback, and a direct line so that we can ring up an actual person rather than a department."
