1 min read
As children grow up in an increasingly complex and demanding world, developing a creative and imaginative outlook is crucial.

Research shows that providing access to music and arts for children atan early age strongly develops their self-confidence, social andcognitive skills. And since employers are increasingly looking for anadaptable and creative workforce, nurturing children's creativeabilities early will have strong benefits into adulthood.

Developing effective creative arts strategies within early years and thewider childcare sector has never been more important. Central to thisdevelopment is the need to harness the experiences of a range ofpartners across the arts and children's services sector. Much excellentwork is being done but projects are often very localised and timelimited, reducing the potential to disseminate knowledge or bestpractice.
