The most popular career among young people aged 14 to 25 in the UK is entrepreneur, according to a survey by Morar Consulting on behalf of educational foundation Edge

- The gender divide is still very obvious when it comes to young people's preferred careers. Morar Consulting surveyed 2,221 14- to 25-year-olds for educational foundation Edge, and found that young women are almost three times more likely than young men to want to be a teacher: in Northern Ireland the gap is even wider, with 12 per cent of young women and no young men selecting teaching as a career option.
