I once looked after a girl who looked very old for her age. She came to me just after she turned 13 and was already tall and well developed for her age.
She settled in to the family well and was a sweet girl, although she seemed quite naive. After a month or so, it became apparent just how easily led she could be.
I had teenage daughters of my own at the time and I was aware that I shouldn't interfere with their lives too much and that there were some areas that were strictly off limits.
