Ah yes, money - all a bit more complicated than it used to be, eh?
Handling money - its comings and its goings - has always been an issue for young people in the transition to independence. That transition has become more complicated and so has finance, whether it's panic about pensions or - of more immediate concern to many young people - the fact that the near-inevitability of enormous student debt is desensitizing a generation to debt in general.
And then there's poverty. Indeed - it's one thing to learn about budgeting, but it's another to learn about it when your income is 40 a week.
