JWT? No, you've got me there. Jobs without training - do keep up.

They may not have quite the same policy priority - or as euphonious an acronym - as the NEETs, but the Government still wants to do something about young people in JWT.

Like encourage them back into education or training? Exactly. Young workers aged 16 and 17 are entitled to paid time off to study for a level-two qualification. Learning agreement pilots are now working out how best to encourage the JWT kids to take this up. This research looked at who they are, their attitudes towards training, and how their employers see things.
