Name Mothers and Money Management Toolkit
Provider Youth Association South Yorkshire
The Lloyds Banking Group Money for Life Challenge is a national competition providing grants for young people aged between 16 and 24 to run a project to improve money management skills in their communities.
Young people in further education, training or community organisations had the chance to set up a team and apply for a £200 grant by the end of November last year and once the project was submitted, a further £300 was given to cover the running costs.
Using one of the grants, a group of young mothers from Sheffield, supported by charity Youth Association South Yorkshire (YASY), created a money and budgeting advice toolkit for other young parents, known as the Mothers and Money Management (MAMM) Toolkit.
