Participation: Enterprise Week encourages young

The range of events includes Ideas at Work Day - which encourages employees to take the initiative in the workplace - Women's Enterprise Day and Social Enterprise Day.

A nationwide "speednetworking" event - in which young people will exchange ideas at venues across the country - will take place on 17 November.

There are currently more than 1,000 UK-wide events scheduled, covering themes including business start-up, mentoring, networking, policy and retail.

Make Your Mark is led by Enterprise Insight, a coalition of business organisations including the Confederation of British Industry and the Federation of Small Businesses.
