Parenting: Charities to run 30m academy

The National Academy for Parenting Practitioners will be run jointly by the Family and Parenting Institute (FPI), Parenting UK and Kings College London, where the academy will be based. The academy will be funded by the Department for Education and Skills.

Mary McLeod, chief executive of FPI, said: "This is the next step in offering parents the right help at the right time as they raise their children."
