Oxford young people create portrait of city

Youth Work
Young people from Oxford will create a portrait of the city and its roots, thanks to a 29,500 Heritage Lottery Fund grant.

The cash will fund a project called Car to Spire, which will be Oxford's contribution to Portrait of a Nation, a celebration of cultural identity from the nation's young people. The year-long programme of events and online activity will challenge young people to explore the impact that their cultural roots have had on their values and their sense of identity.
