OUT IN AFRICA

Blazing a trail for Prince Harry, who last week went to work at a Lesotho orphanage, a group of young people went to South Africa earlier this year to visit projects run by the Red Cross. The group of eight 14- to 16-year-olds from Brine Leas High School in Cheshire included Jack Warrington, 15 (pictured). They took part in peer education sessions and visited a daycare centre in the township of Nyanga for young children of mothers who have been affected by or infected with HIV.
