What better way to prepare young women for the inequalities they can expect to come their way?

The following sad but true story took place at Wellington College, a public school in Crowthorne, Berkshire. Two young men set up a hidden camera and videoed one of them having sex with a young woman from the college. She was unaware of the filming. The young men screened the video to students at the college.

Pretty disgraceful behaviour, without a doubt. The school authorities, not surprisingly, took a dim view. What is surprising, even shocking, is that they treated the young woman in exactly the same way as the young men. All three were suspended and will only be allowed back to sit their exams. In a public statement the college said all three had taken part in "an incident involving indecent behaviour".
