Opinion: If I were in charge of Play - Liam Chambers, 9, Peterborough

1 min read
If I made up a game I'd probably make the rules up as I went along. I'd knock buildings down that I didn't need and then build things that I could play on.

There's some playgrounds near where I live but people just keep wrecking them so I hardly ever go up there. It's a rough place anyway, older kids go up there.

I'm not very good at angry voices but if I was I'd really shout at them as much as I can. I'd say I was going to murder them or something. I wouldn't actually do it, I'd just sound like I was going to do it. Because sometimes my mum thinks that I really mean it but I don't, I just like shouting.

I played the other day but my mum doesn't usually have the time to play because she's usually rushing around. We really just have breakfast and get ready and have to go, so we don't have time to do anything. I wish there was a button that I could press so she could do all the housework and everything when I'm amusing myself doing something, and then I could press another button when I can't find anything to do. I'd love that, and then I'd just do anything.
